Ever since he retired from the NBA, Hall of Famer Paul Pierce has made a post-playing “career” out of saying and doing ridiculous things (such as famously getting fired from ESPN for going on IG Live with ladies of the night).
Now that he hosts his own podcast — which is literally titled No Fouls Given, a play on the phrase “no f—- given” — Paul Pierce has a permanent platform to spew his ridiculousness, the latest of which saw him claiming that Michael Jordan had a “limited” offensive game.
Paul Pierce and Danny Green say that NBA legend Michael Jordan had a “limited offensive bag
According to Pierce, Jordan had a “limited bag” because he predominately used one move — a “one-two dribble pull up.”
“Mike had a limited bag,” Pierce said to his co-hosts, which includes former NBA champion Danny Green. “He didn’t need to use his bag. He didn’t need to do all that fancy s—, he was just right to the business.”
“Shai got more of a bag,” Green said in reference to the reigning NBA MVP.

Michael Jordan played in the NBA for a total of 15 seasons (with two of those seasons being with the Washington Wizards after he retired for the second time in 1998).
Across those 15 seasons, MJ averaged the following points per game: 28.2 (as a rookie), 22.7, 37.1, 35, 32.5, 33.6, 31.5, 30.1, 32.6, 26.9, 30.4, 29.6, 28.7, 22.9 (Wizards) and 20 (Wizards).
Pierce, on the other hand, played in the NBA for 19 seasons and never once averaged over 27 points per game, let alone 30 points per game.
Given those numbers, it could be argued that MJ had more of an offensive game as a rookie than Pierce had throughout the entire course of his career.
