Everything you need to know about Liverpool's duo at risk of Premier League suspension ahead of the Reds' clash with Sunderland AFC at Anfield...
Liverpool to play host to Sunderland AFC: Arne Slot's Reds are back in action on Wednesday evening as they play host to a newly-promoted Sunderland AFC at Anfield. The game gets underway at 8.15pm.
The rules of the Premier League: As per The FA's disciplinary rules, any player who picks up five yellow cards in the first 19 matches of a single season will have to take a one-match suspension. These suspensions do not carry over to the EFL Cup or the FA Cup, and must be served in the Premier League as a result.
Conor Bradley toeing the line: Conor Bradley is on the brink of picking up a one-match suspension as a result of picking up yellow cards against Newcastle United, Burnley, Chelsea and Manchester City.
Dominik Szoboszlai on verge of suspension: Dominik Szoboszlai is also one yellow card away from a one-match ban. He has found his way into the book against Everton, Chelsea, Manchester City and West Ham United.
Bradley to miss Sunderland clash: Bradley will not play a part in Liverpool's clash with Sunderland on Wednesday as a result of an injury picked up while on international duty with Northern Ireland last month. He is expected to return to action in the coming weeks.
Liverpool's problems at the back: Jeremie Frimpong's hamstring issues have kept him sidelined for large parts of the season, with Bradley getting the nod to play at right-back. However, with the 22-year-old now out injured, Slot has been forced to utilise Szoboszlai on the right-hand side. Should he be booked against Sunderland, it would likely spell disaster for an already stretched defence.
Which game could Szoboszlai miss: Should Szoboszlai be booked against Sunderland on Wednesday, he will miss Liverpool's match against Leeds United at Elland Road come Saturday, December 6.
