Everything you need to know about Liverpool's injury news ahead of their Premier League clash with Sunderland at Anfield.

Conor Bradley (Right-Back): He is ruled out for the Sunderland match due to a hamstring/muscle injury picked up while on international duty. Manager Arne Slot is hopeful that Bradley could be available for the subsequent game against Leeds United at the weekend.

Jeremie Frimpong (Right-Back): Frimpong is also out as he continues his recovery from a hamstring issue that has hindered his start to the season. The expectation is that he will return to team training sometime next week, bringing him closer to a match-day squad appearance.

Giovanni Leoni (Centre-Back): The young defender remains a long-term absentee following an ACL tear sustained earlier in the season. He is unlikely to feature again for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.

Florian Wirtz & Alexander Isak (Attacking): Both players successfully returned from injuries and impressed against West Ham, but their match fitness is being carefully managed. Arne Slot has indicated that they are not yet able to play three full 90-minute games in a week, so rotation is highly likely for one or both of them.

Joe Gomez (Defender): Gomez filled in capably at right-back against West Ham, but he too is a candidate for rotation due to the busy fixture schedule and his recent full match. The need for cover at right-back remains a significant concern, with Dominik Szoboszlai being another potential option for the role.
