Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool will have to fork out €80 million to sign Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
The French international’s future has become an interesting talking point as he doesn’t seem to have a prominent role under Xabi Alonso. He isn’t considered an ideal fit for the Spanish manager’s style of play, and with others preferred ahead of him, the 23-year-old utility man could push for an exit next summer.
According to a report from Fichajes, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all keen on acquiring Eduardo Camavinga’s services. All three Premier League giants have been keeping tabs on his situation and would pounce on an opportunity to sign him. Real Madrid reportedly want at least €80 million to sanction his departure.
Camavinga came up the ranks at Stade Rennais and made quite a name for himself while playing for their first team before joining Real Madrid in the summer of 2021. The 23-year-old has only gone from strength to strength over the years.
While he has never really been a regular starter for them, Camavinga has often had a very important role in the team and has played a big part in all the success they have had. However, things haven’t been that great for him under Xabi Alonso.
He is not an ideal fit for his system and style. As a result, he has only started a handful of games since returning from injury. In his 14 outings across competitions, he has only racked up 563 minutes of first-team action.
With him not getting regular minutes at Real Madrid, multiple English clubs are ready to prise him away. Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all after his signature.
Premier League giants to battle for Camavinga
The Gunners consider him an ideal option to strengthen their double pivot rotation. The 23-year-old could be the perfect guy to provide competition to the likes of Martin Zubimendi and Declan Rice.
Meanwhile, Chelsea see him as a perfect fit for their project. He would complement Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo in the centre park. With Romeo Lavia struggling to stay fit, he could be an exceptional signing for them.
Liverpool want to strengthen their midfield rotation by signing the versatile French midfielder. They consider him to be a midfielder who can handle the physical demands of the English top flight.
Not only will he bolster their midfield, but Camavinga can also contribute in other positions when needed. Real Madrid are reluctant to let go of one of their most promising young stars. With his contract running until 2029, they are in complete control of his future.
However, if he doesn’t get enough minutes under Alonso, the Spanish giants won’t have options to play with. They will only consider offers in excess of €80 million if they are forced to cash in on him.
