Thunder vs. Warriors: The matchup
The Thunder own the NBA’s best overall record (20-1) and best road record, and they arrive in San Francisco on a 12-game win streak. Oklahoma City is listed as an 11.5-point favorite against Golden State, armed with the NBA’s best defense (106.7 ppg) by a wide margin and the league’s top scoring differential (+15.4). OKC has topped 100 points in all 21 games so far this season with an early pace to challenge the NBA wins record, set by these Warriors, who went 73-9 in the 2015-’16 season.

That window of dominance has slowly begun to close over the past decade since, but 37-year-old Steph Curry continues to be the team’s best player. He leads the Warriors in scoring (27.9 ppg) and paces the NBA in 3-pointers (4.7/game), but he is set to miss Tuesday night’s game, possibly longer, with a thigh contusion suffered in a Wednesday loss to the Houston Rockets (104-100). Golden State sits at 11-10 this season with wins in two of its past three, most recently beating the Pelicans (104-96) on Saturday.
