Arsenal will be looking to stamp their authority on the Premier League title race when they host Brentford on Wednesday. The Gunners were left frustrated to come away from fellow high-flyers Chelsea with a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
The home side had Moises Caicedo sent off in the first half before taking the lead through Trevoh Chalobah. The Gunners grabbed a point thanks to a Mikel Merino goal but they couldn't force a winner, with their lead over Manchester City being trimmed to five points.
Given the hectic schedule with a midweek round of games before heading to Aston Villa on Saturday, Arteta knows the importance of delivering a strong display against the Bees. Here's a round-up of the latest Arsenal news…
Gunners seek out Mendes
The Gunners have reportedly been in touch with super agent Jorge Mendes about Juventus star Kenan Yildiz.
The powerful middleman isn't Yildiz's official representative, but has been tasked with seeking out potential suitors for the attacking midfielder, 20, nonetheless.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Gunners are among the clubs to have contacted Mendes to express interest in Yildiz. Contract talks between Yildiz and Juve are said to have stalled.
The Turin giants have reportedly offered him a new deal worth £4.4million a year, with the player looking for closer to £6m. There is more to the talks than money, with Yildiz, whose deal doesn't expire until 2029, eager to become a central figure at the club. The impasse could help Arsenal, who have reportedly been 'captivated' by Yildiz's performances this season.
Twins jet in
Ecuadorian twins Edwin, a right winger, and attacking midfielder Holger Quintero have been in London this week to sign for the Gunners, reports ESPN.
The 16-year-old siblings, who are currently on the books at Independiente del Valle, will sign forms that will see them officially join Arsenal in August 2027 when they turn 18. Neither has played senior football yet, although they have represented their country at under-17 level, which is helpful when it comes to securing a work permit under the FA's points-based system.

A string of top European sides, including Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, have been watching the pair, but Arsenal appear to have won the race. Burbano, who previously coached the pair, has compared them to Brazilian icon Ronaldinho. He told EL COMERCIO: "People pay to see good football.
"They're going to give you spectacular plays. They're like Ronaldinho. Juggling, step-overs, whatever you can imagine, but they have to know when; first think about the team and then about that."
