Arsenal have been told by former Man United defender Rio Ferdinand that they have a player like Mo Salah.
The Gunners are going into their next game against Brentford with a five point lead at the top of the Premier League table. It comes after they drew 1-1 to title challengers Chelsea over the weekend in what was a scrappy affair at Stamford Bridge.

Mikel Arteta will need to rely on his big players this season, especially as the Gunners have had countless injury problems this season. The likes of Noni Madueke, Viktor Gyokeres, Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli have all been dealing with injury problems this season in terms of Gunners’ attackers.
However, despite the injury concerns, Arsenal have still performed, and now, the Gunners will need to rely on their best if they are to win the Premier League title, much like Liverpool did with Mo Salah last year.
Ferdinand says Arsenal star Saka is like Mo Salah
Bukayo Saka is Arsenal’s version of Mo Salah, in terms of the fact that he is a talisman, and a real leader in the Gunners’ attack. But, former Man United captain Rio Ferdinand believes that the duo are very similar players in style too.
Ferdinand said on his YouTube channel: “When he’s on it he looks unplayable. He’s got that strength like Mohamed Salah. He’s small in frame and size when you look at him, but do you ever see him get pushed off the ball?
“Especially when he’s got his back to play and get the ball side-on. You don’t really see people take the ball off him or put him on his arse. He’s a strong little guy.”
So far this season, Saka has scored three Premier League goals, and providing one assist. He hasn’t come back with the numbers you would expect, but he’s contributed defensively and in attack, something that many fans don’t appreciate.
He will hope that he can deliver against Brentford during the week, and then against Aston Villa at the weekend.
