Keith Andrews says Brentford need to "embrace the difficult task" of Premier League leaders Arsenal

Brentford head coach Keith Andrews admitted that the task of trying to get a result at the Emirates against Premier League leaders Arsenal will not be an easy one.

The Bees are on a good run of form in the Premier League with three wins in their last five games, though they still only have managed a single win away from home.

They did get back to winning ways at the Gtech Community Stadium against Burnley at the weekend, with four goals in the final 10 minutes in a 3-1 win.

Arsenal dropped a couple of points in the title race, drawing 1-1 against a 10-man Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Andrews believes that despite how good Arsenal are, his team can definitely get amongst them.

“Very impressive, a coach [Mikel Arteta] that respects every phase of the game, and that has been pretty evident in how the team has grown over the number of years that he has been in charge.

“The edge that they play with, and they also have a lot of talented individuals, so they are clearly having a very good season.”

Most difficult challenge of the season so far?

“When you look in those terms, it is obvious that it will be a difficult task, but also one that we need to embrace.

“We are in a really good place as a team, and our confidence should be at a place where we should be going to a place like that [the Emirates] to try and win. That’s where I want us to be, and feel we will be.

“There will always be a lot made of that, the set piece battle with two teams that are quite good at that aspect of the game.”

“In most games, set-pieces play a part to different levels. I think this will be a game where it plays a very big part, and we hope we can come out on the right side of it.”

“He is a dream to work with, as a person, and his hunger to get better is very impressive.

“He is having a magnificent season, the numbers will tell you that, the performances that he is putting in will tell you that.

“How well he's integrated into the way that we are playing and the way he is playing with certain individuals within that team, he is making a real impact on how we are playing and has proved to be a big player for us."
