Erling Haaland had his say on a manic 5-4 triumph for **Man City**against Fulham.
Teammate **Phil Foden**had mentioned the team’s victory over Leeds United on the weekend was one of the craziest games he had played, but this result will take some beating. Haaland had got the party started in West London with his 100th Premier League goal in a record breaking spell of just 113 games, Tijjani Reijnders doubled the lead, and Foden left the side 4-1 to the good after 48 minutes.
When **Sander Berge**buried the ball in his own net after 55 minutes, few would have thought that the hosts had any chance of a fightback. But fight back they did: Alex Iwobi netted, and his compatriot Samuel Chukwueze cut the deficit down to a single strike with a brace. Josh King nearly completed the comeback in injury time of the second half as the Citizens were made to sweat for the three points.
"[It was] chaotic. Nine goals in a game is too much. If you're watching this game at home, it should be match of the day as you said! It was a crazy game."
"[At 5-1] I thought of scoring the sixth - like I always do. I think at 5-2 or 5-3 I was close to scoring and then they went and made it 5-3 so that's football, that's the beauty of football. That's why we love the game."
"Proud moment. 100 club is a huge thing. To do it this quickly is amazing. I'm proud, I'm happy.
"I've said it many times - a striker for City should score a lot of goals. That's my job, that's what I try to do. And I'm not bad at it! I should have had a hat-trick, I had a few chances. I need to practice."
