Everything you need to know about player injuries and team selection issues as Liverpool prepare to play host to Sunderland in the Premier League...
Liverpool to host Sunderland: Liverpool are set to face Sunderland AFC at Anfield come Wednesday evening in the Premier League. Kick-off is slated for 8.15pm.
Conor Bradley ruled out: The right-back sustained an injury during the November international break with Northern Ireland. While he has recently returned to training, Arne Slot has explained that he's not quite ready to return to playing just yet.
Jeremie Frimpong closing in on return: Jeremie Frimpong has also been side-lined since October after sustaining a muscular injury. And while the full-back has also been closing in on a return to action, Slot has explained that he will miss at least three more games before he is match fit.
Giovanni Leoni out for the season: Giovanni Leoni has been ruled out for the rest of the season after sustaining an ACL injury during his debut against Southampton in the Carabao Cup in September. Slot said at the time: "He is not in a good place because he tore his ACL, which means he will be out around a year." Read the full story here.
Dominik Szoboszlai walking a fine line: As a result of already picking up four yellow cards this season, another booking against Sunderland could see the Hungarian midfielder serve a one-match suspension. He will have to be on his best behaviour if he features against the Black Cats.
Expected changes: As a result of Bradley and Frimpong missing the match against Sunderland, Szoboszlai could once again be utilised as a makeshift right-back. However, Slot could also choose to field Joe Gomez or Curtis Jones in the position to keep Szoboszlai in the heart of his engine room, where he truly thrives. With Alexander Isak scoring his first Premier League goal against West Ham at the weekend, Slot also has decisions to make with regards to whether he opts to use him from the outset, or instead deploy Hugo Ekitike.
Next up for Liverpool: After their midweek clash with Sunderland, Liverpool will travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United come Saturday, December 6. A Champions League fixture with Inter Milan then awaits on Tuesday, December 9, before the Reds return to Premier League action against Brighton on Saturday, December 13 at Anfield.
