Arsenal and Manchester United have been encouragement to move for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Nathaniel Brown.
BILD cover the defender today. They report that everyone is expecting Brown to leave, likely at the end of the season, and Frankfurt won’t stop him from doing so.
The 22-year-old doesn’t want to leave in January, preferring to stay where he is with the World Cup in mind. But, after that, he will likely depart.
That’s primarily because he’s attracted the attention of top clubs with his impressive performances. Real Madrid, Arsenal and Manchester United have him on their lists. And they’ve been monitoring him ‘closely’ for months.
Arsenal and Manchester United have a genuine chance
Nathaniel Brown
COLOGNE, GERMANY – 22 NOVEMBER, 2025: Ron-Robert Zieler, Nathaniel Brown – The football match of Bundesliga 1.FC Koeln vs SG Eintracht Frankfurt at Rhein Energie Stadion.
Frankfurt are happy to let him go. They’ve anticipated a departure for a while, with sporting director Markus Krösche expecting a €65m transfer fee at least. They’re depending on getting such a sum.
The supervisory board at the club continue to demand that Krösche generate high transfer revenues then reinvest them in the squad. Even getting into the Champions League doesn’t change that.
Rising costs also mean more sales are needed and that’s where Brown comes in. He’s by far the ‘hottest transfer target’ at the club. So, they’d absolutely have no problem with Arsenal, Manchester United or someone else coming in with a big bid. In fact, they’d welcome it.
