Thierno Barry was disappointed not to get on the scoresheet in Everton’s win over Bournemouth on Tuesday.
Everton beat Bournemouth 1-0 thanks to a late second-half strike from Jack Grealish, which has pushed the Blues further up the Premier League table
The Vitality Stadium has been a hard place for Everton to visit in recent times, but they managed to brush aside their curse and, more importantly, take three points back to Merseyside.
David Moyes chose to start Barry against the Cherries, and the striker has now reacted on Instagram after coming agonisingly close to scoring once again for the Toffees, in what is the “story” of his life.

Barry has had a difficult time at Everton, but Moyes clearly has faith in the Frenchman to come good eventually.

The 23-year-old has now played 14 times in the Premier League this season and is yet to register a goal contribution.

There have been moments where the number nine will know he could’ve done better, but sometimes, luck just hasn’t been on his side.
Taking to Instagram, Barry captioned his post the “Story of my life” while sharing photos of his missed chances versus the Cherries.
He also shared another piece of text in French, which translates to a powerful message that may excite Everton supporters.
It said: “Despite all the hardships I’ve faced in my life, I’ve always managed to overcome them successfully.”
The good thing is that Barry is getting himself into goalscoring positions, and all it might take is one to find the back of the net for him to explode into form.
Barry simply has to come good
Barry has shown signs of improvement in his all-around game and is becoming a more reliable option than Beto.
Everton may be in the market for a new striker in January, and that’s why Barry will know he needs to take his chances sooner rather than later.

The statistics are showing that it feels like it’s just a matter of time with Barry, but it’s ultimately up to him to score the goals.
All the Toffees can do is keep winning, and the feel-good factor will surely rub off on the Frenchman in performances.
