England captain Kane a‘dream target’for Chelsea

Chelsea could move to within just a single point of second-placed Manchester City in the Premier League table if they beat Leeds United on Wednesday.

Enzo Maresca’s side arrive at Elland Road in fine form, having remained unbeaten throughout the month of November.

The Blues will be firm favourites to pick up all three points against Leeds, who have struggled of late and currently occupy a relegation place.

Ahead of the game, it appears that Maresca is eyeing an audacious move for a superstar striker next year.

According to indykaila news, Maresca has identified Bayern Munich and England striker Harry Kane as his dream signing.

It is claimed that the Italian believes Kane, 32, would be the perfect player to take Chelsea to the next level as they look to compete for the Premier League and Champions League.

Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur back in 2023, having scored 280 goals for the Lilywhites across all competitions.

Since moving to Bavaria he has continued to score prolifically, netting 109 times in 116 games including 24 goals in 20 games so far this term.

The striker – who is England’s captain as well as the Three Lions’ all-time top scorer – is under contract at Bayern until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Despite Maresca’s interest in the player, it is suggested that the Englishman could be tricky to lure back to London for a variety of reasons.

His wages and age could deter those in charge of Chelsea from making an offer to sign the forward, however Maresca is said to be of the opinion that Kane is the perfect player to take his side to the next level.
