Regis Le Bris' big Sunderland striker call at Liverpool & Slot's Mo Salah decision

The striker is one of two changes to the starting XI for tonight's game at Liverpool, with Trai Hume also coming into the team.

Brobbey replaces Wilson Isidor up-front, while Hume is in for Bertrand Traore, suggesting Regis Le Bris has reverted to the back five which worked well in the recent games against Chelsea and Liverpool.

With Hume recalled, Nordi Mukiele is likely to move across to centre-half and play alongside Dan Ballard and Omar Alderete, with Reinildo at left wing-back.

Granit Xhaka and Noah Sadiki will play in midfield, with Enzo Le Fee and Chemsdine Talbi supporting Brobbey up-front.

Brobbey headed the winner against Bournemouth at the weekend and also scored the last gasp equaliser against Arsenal.

Le Bris has been patient with Brobbey, who wasn't deemed ready to start for the [Black Cats](http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/sunderland?ref=au) when he joined from Ajax on deadline day.

But the head coach said on Tuesday: "Now I think he might be ready for 60, 65 minutes. So we have this option now, but I think it wasn't the case before."

Chris Rigg is missing from the bench for the Black Cats.

Arne Slot has again left Mo Salah out of his Liverpool starting XI. Former Newcastle striker Alexander Isak starts for the home side after scoring his first Premier League goal against West Ham at the weekend.
