A first half goal from Mikel Merino, and an injury time strike from Bukayo Saka ensured Arsenal opened up a 5 point lead at the top of the Premier League again as the Gunners beat Brentford 2-0.
It wasn’t plain sailing by any means, and Mikel Arteta has more injury headaches after losing Cristhian Mosquera in the first half, and seeing Declan Rice go off with a few minutes to go, but the important thing was three points and we did that in a solid and relatively efficient way.
