Arsenal secured a 2-0 victory over Brentford with goals from Mikel Merino and Bukayo Saka, moving five points clear at the top of the Premier League.
Merino and David Raya were the standout players, with both vital in winning the match. Merino was the match winner after scoring the opening goal, while Raya made an incredible reflex save to prevent an equaliser.
Arsenal's win was overshadowed by injuries, as defender Cristian Mosquera was forced off in the first half, and midfielder Declan Rice sustained a knock in the second half.
Mikel Arteta's initial tactical changes and decision to rotate key players like Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber failed to convince early on, with the Gunners not at their best despite the comfortable scoreline.
