Liverpool City Council will host an event next month to improve digital confidence as part of its award-winning Stanley Park Market.

Jadu, which is the Council’s new case management system provider, will co-host.
The event forms part of Liverpool City Region’s digital inclusion agenda, which aims to help build confidence, develop skills and find out what’s possible with online services.

**Councillor Joanne Kennedy, Cabinet Member for Employment, Educational Attainment and Skills, said:** “There are so many services available online that can help people carry out everyday tasks, grow their skills and stay in touch with loved ones. But many people, particularly some older members of the community, don’t have the access or confidence to make the most of it.
“This event is a way for the Council and our partners to empower these people to make the most of their digital options. If you know somebody who doesn’t have access to the internet or struggles to use it, please make sure they know that they can come to Anfield for expert support.”
**Councillor Harry Doyle, Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Culture said:** “We’re incredibly proud of our markets in Liverpool and how they enrich communities.
“Events like Tech the Halls reflect that by bringing people together, providing opportunities, and ensuring everyone can access the tools they need to thrive in a digital world.”
**Councillor Ruth Bennett,** **Cabinet Member for Finances, Resources and Transformation****, said:** “We’re proud to be working closely with Jadu to help people improve their digital confidence.
“Events such as Tech the Halls are a great example of how we ensure that our contracts are not just about services but about bringing real benefit to local communities.”
