David Moyes had to get creative with his team selection due to the sheer number of players both injured and suspended.
Despite Dewsbury-Hall scoring in the two games prior to Tuesday night’s trip south, the 28-year-old was pushed back into a deeper midfield role.
Dewsbury-Hall and Tim Iroegbunam formed a solid partnership in the midfield, which kept a red hot Bournemouth side at bay.
The former Chelsea man has proven to be an absolute steal for Everton in the summer transfer window.
And The Friedkin Group have now shared their honest thoughts on Dewsbury-Hall on the back of his opening months on Merseyside.

Whether the 28-year-old will remain in the deeper role will have to be seen, with a possible partnership alongside James Garner a really interesting prospect.
But injury issues may prevent that and Dewsbury-Hall could play alongside the likes of Charly Alcaraz.
With a potentially less experienced player alongside him, Dewsbury-Hall’s know-how will be more important than ever on Saturday.
He’s been Moyes’ most reliable player in recent weeks and is quickly becoming the club’s most important player.
