There were doubts whether Myles Turner and the struggling Milwaukee Bucks would be able to get past the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night at Fiserv Forum. Detroit was – and still is – the top team in the Eastern Conference, while Milwaukee limped into the contest having won just once in its previous nine games.
Confidence in Milwaukee to get the job done against Cade Cunningham and the Pistons further waned whenGiannis Antetokounmpo suffered an apparent leg injuryjust three minutes into the game. Antetokounmpo was later ruled out for the rest of the night, leaving Milwaukee trying to defend its home without its greatest weapon.
Yet, when it was all said and done on the court, the Bucks were the ones victorious, coming awaywith a 113-109 victory.

The former Texas Longhorns star big man, who is in his first season with Milwaukee, loved the way the Bucks battled through adversity to finish off Detroit.
“Drown The Noise It’s Always About “We,” wrote Turner on an Instagram Stories post following the win against the Pistons.

However, Turner only scored nine points on a 2-for-5 shooting from the field with just three rebounds and an assist. He had two blocks, though, and perhaps the best highlight play of the night, as he dropped a hammer on Pistons big man Isaiah Stewart in the third quarter.
