Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium is the 7th most valuable ground in the world
Everton first started construction on the Hill Dickinson back in 2021, and it’s been a long and expensive process since then.
At certain stages, it looked as though Farhad Moshiri was struggling to get the investment needed to finish the project.

But, the club managed to agree long-term financing, totalling £350million, from a consortium of blue-chip institutional lenders.
With that said, a recent report from Football Ground Guide estimates Everton’s stadium to be worth a whopping £750m, making it the seventh most valuable arena on the planet.
# Stadium Value
1 Yankee Stadium £1.5 billion
2 Wembley Stadium £1 billion
3 Tottenham Hotspur Stadium £1 billion
4 Singapore National Stadium £1 billion
5 Mercedes-Benz Stadium £1 billion
6 Gazprom Arena £850m
7 Hill Dickinson Stadium £750m
8 Estadio Nacional £600m
9 Santiago Bernabeu £500m
10 Allianz Arena £500m
Quite remarkably, Everton’s ground is actually more valuable than Real Madrid’s iconic Santiago Bernabeu and even Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena.
Everton could increase Hill Dickinson Stadium value by 2028
It has been reported that Everton could increase the Hill Dickinson’s capacity to 62,000 in time for the Euros in 2028.
The Toffees are hosting four group stage matches and a round of 16 clash for the tournament, so there has been discussion about adding an extra 10,000 seats.

That would actually make it bigger than Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium, which would be a nice bragging right to have over their Merseyside rivals.
Of course, these plans would be subject to how Everton are performing in the Premier League. If they become a European-level club, then an increase in capacity is likely to materialise.
Certainly exciting times on the horizon for Toffees supporters, with lots of new events to enjoy at the Hill Dickinson away from just the football.
