Everton return to Premier League action on Saturday as they play host to Nottingham Forest at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Everton will be hoping to make it four wins from their last five Premier League games, which could see them move into a European spot.
Sean Dyche will be returning to his former club for the first time since being sacked by the Friedkin Group.
It’ll be fascinating to see what kind of reception he gets among the Toffees supporters, considering his tenure was mixed with ups and downs, especially towards the end.
Sean Dyche should be worried ahead of Saturday’s trip to Merseyside! 😳

Opta supercomputer has Everton as clear favourites vs Nottingham Forest
Everton are in a really good run of form at the moment, with Moyes’ side winning 1-0 away at Bournemouth on Tuesday.
Forest, meanwhile, secured a 1-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers, lifting them one point clear of the relegation zone.

That said, the supercomputer has made Everton the big favourites to beat Dyche’s side at the Hill Dickinson this weekend.

The software reckons there’s a 48.6% chance of a home win, whilst an away victory is considered 25.6% likely.
That means a draw 25.8% likely, so all the data massively favours the home side, who have kept three clean sheets in four.
Everton’s last five meetings vs Nottingham Forest
The last five meetings make for good reading, as Everton have won three of their last five games against Forest.
05 Mar 2023 Nottingham Forest 2-2 Everton
02 Dec 2023 Nottingham Forest 0-1 Everton
21 Apr 2024 Everton 2-0 Nottingham Forest
29 Dec 2024 Everton 0-2 Nottingham Forest
12 Apr 2025 Nottingham Forest 0-1 Everton
The only slip-up came last December, and Dyche was actually on the touchline for the Toffees, funnily enough.
Moyes’ side won the reverse fixture, though, with Abdoulaye Doucoure netting a stoppage-time winner to send the away supporters wild.
What an away day this was!

Thierno Barry may be dropped for the clash this weekend, with Beto potentially coming in to replace the Frenchman.
Beto will be keen to get on the scoresheet and get one over Dyche, who hardly played him during his spell on Merseyside.
