Unai Emery’s side are positioned in third place in the Premier League table after their latest victory. They are inside the top four along Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea. The Midlands outfit are back in action this weekend with a home clash against the Gunners.

Aston Villa boss Emery was delighted with their result against Brighton and said: “The first half was fantastic how we achieved this result. The second half, again, we were keeping our gameplan and, of course, it was a very tough match, a very difficult match. But the players responded fantastic.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta was pleased with his players after their 2-0 victory over Brentford and said: “The game was always open and we needed that extra energy to close it, and maybe when we didn't have it, we had the courage to take the ball under pressure and to start to break their press through very good movement and purpose with the ball to go and score the second goal and win the game.”
The Gunners are top of the table and are hoping that this is the year that they can finally win the title. They have proved to be a tough nut to crack this term and have lost only once. The London club will be eager to keep their form going against Aston Villa.
