Arsenal could reportedly make a January move for Villarreal attacker Alberto Moleiro.
The 22-year-old joined Villarreal in the summer from Las Palmas and has continued his impressive development since the switch.
Daily Arsenal exclusively revealed a year ago that the Gunners were interested in signing Moleiro, with one source telling us that Arteta “loves” the player.
Now, ***CaughtOffside***reports that Arsenal could launch a January swoop for Moleiro.
Mikel Arteta is understood to be a big admirer of the Spaniard and, due to the club’s ongoing injury issues, the Gunners are ready to further invest in the squad — with Moleiro viewed as a potential option.
Although Villarreal are reluctant to lose their star man mid-season, a move to Arsenal is considered “one to watch.”
