Everton rarely win trophies for monthly awards, be it Manager, Player or Goal of the Month – but December could see two of their players land awards.
Everton have only seen the Manager of the Month award land their way three times since the turn of the decade; Carlo Ancelotti won the award in September 2020, before Everton’s revival under Sean Dyche in April 2024 saw him clinch the title before David Moyes won it in February this year.
The Player of the Month is even rarer to come by; Jack Grealish won that award in August for his assist-laden month, and before that, you’d have to go back to Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s prolific September 2020 for the award arriving at Finch Farm.
And with those awards both won in 2025, the Goal of the Month award could be on its way to the blue half of Merseyside with two nominations for November’s fixtures.

Everton have seen Iliman Ndiaye and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall nominated for the Goal of the Month
Everton are the only club to have two players in this month’s nomination list.
Iliman Ndiaye’s superb solo run and finish against Sunderland is enough to put him into the final eight, seeing him take huge plaudits for his performance in the north east.
And it was against another north east outfit in Newcastle that Toffees star Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall earned his vote with a stunning touch-and-finish.
Struggling to think of anyone who deserves it more than KDH…🤔

The midfielder’s goal counted for nothing, but he took down James Tarkowski’s long ball with ease before slotting past Aaron Ramsdale on Saturday in the 4-1 defeat – seeing him nominated for the Player of the Month award.
Elsewhere, former Everton star Richarlison has earned his place on the list for a long-range strike against Arsenal, while Harry Wilson, Tyler Adams, Yeremy Pino, Jeremy Doku and Amad Diallo make up the nomination list.
Everton’s previous Goal of the Month win came almost three years ago
You’d have to really rack your brains to remember what Everton’s last Goal of the Month winner was.
And hats off if you guessed correctly. Demarai Gray takes the award for his strike against Manchester City on New Year’s Eve at the Etihad Stadium, scoring a superb goal in a 1-1 draw against the then-Premier League winners.

In fact, Everton players have only won the official award three times in the past nine years since its inception.
Andros Townsend’s howitzer against Burnley in September 2021 was enough to clinch the award, while Wayne Rooney’s famous halfway line effort vs West Ham United in November 2017 also took the gong.
It’s not often that Everton players win the award but with some other superb strikes in the shortlist, it could be a tough ask.
