Former Raptors, Toronto native Joseph signs with Monaco

Cory Joseph is headed to Europe.

The 14-year NBA veteran guard from Toronto has signed with Monaco of the LNB Elite league in France.

Joseph, 34, spent last season with the Orlando Magic.

A product of Texas, Joseph is a veteran of 866 NBA contests with the Magic, Golden State Warriors, Detroit Pistons, Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers, Toronto Raptors and San Antonio Spurs. He won an NBA title with the Spurs in 2014.

Originally taken with the 29th overall pick of the 2011 NBA Draft, Joseph averaged 6.7 points on .440 shooting, 2.9 assists and 2.4 boards over 21.1 minutes a night for his career.

Internationally, Joseph has represented Canada at numerous tournaments over the years at both senior and youth levels.

He joins a Monaco team that already features a number of former NBA players including Nikola Mirotic and Daniel Theis.
