Liverpool will be looking to return to winning ways when they travel to a challenging Elland Road to face Leeds United on Saturday.
The Reds were held to a 1-1 draw by Sunderland in midweek in a lackluster affair but could extend their Premier League unbeaten run to three matches with an away victory.
The only goal came via a Florian Wirtz-inspired own goal, while Alexander Isak struggled once again, and Mohamed Salah was introduced as a halftime substitute.
Leeds, on the other hand, come into the game on the back of an impressive home win over Chelsea, a performance that saw them dominate and snap a four-match Premier League losing streak.
Anton Stach and Lukas Nmecha have been standout performers for Leeds, with Nmecha finding the net in four consecutive league matches.
Before the Sunderland draw, manager Arne Slot expressed hope that Conor Bradley would return from a muscular injury in time for the Leeds clash.
However, Jeremie Frimpong (thigh) and Giovanni Leoni (ACL) will miss out at Elland Road.
Bradley’s return would be particularly welcome, as Joe Gomez is unlikely to be considered for a third start within a week.
Curtis Jones and Dominik Szoboszlai remain options at right-back.
Leeds, however, face injury concerns of their own.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha are both doubts for Saturday’s game, dealing with calf and hamstring issues, respectively.
