As it does every week, LaLiga has submitted a formal letter of complaint to the Competition Committee of the RFEF and to the Anti-Violence Commission, highlighting chants heard in various stadiums that incite violence or contain insulting, intolerant, or discriminatory language.
This week, the majority of the complaints center around the Athletic Club–Real Madrid match played last night at San Mamés — a fixture overshadowed by a series of coordinated abusive chants aimed at visiting players Raul Asensio and Vinicius Junior.
According to the report, both players were subjected to persistent verbal attacks, with Thibaut Courtois also noting after the match that Vinicius was once again forced to defend himself against continuous harassment from a section of the stands.
Documented Chants Collected by LaLiga
LaLiga’s letter details four specific incidents, all originating from the Lower North Stand (sectors 105–110) of San Mamés — the area known as the new Popular Supporters’ Stand, located just below banners reading “Íñigo Cabacas” and “Herri Harmaila.”
19th Minute – Directed at Vinicius Jr.
A group of local fans chanted in unison for approximately 10 seconds:
“Fool, fool!”
55th Minute – Directed at Marco Asensio
The same section of the stand coordinated an 8-second chant:
“Asensio die, lololo, Asensio rapist!”
57th Minute – Directed at Vinicius Jr.
For around 10 seconds, fans chanted:
“Vinicius subnormal, Vinicius subnormal!”
76th Minute – Directed at Vinicius Jr.
Another repeat of the earlier abuse, chanted for 10 seconds:
“Fool, fool!”
