Manchester United 1-1 West Ham match highlights and reaction
Man Utd drew 1-1 with West Ham in the Premier League on Thursday night and this is what it means.
Manchester United missed the opportunity to move up to fifth in the Premier League after they drew West Ham 1-1 on Thursday night. Diogo Dalot gave United the lead in the second-half but Soungoutou Magassa rescued a point for the away side from a late corner.
Ruben Amorim’s side are now two matches unbeaten after they picked up three points against Crystal Palace at the weekend. United's draw has moved them up to eighth in the league, level on points with both Liverpool and Brighton.
It means United are now two points behind Chelsea in fourth-place, but are still only three points ahead of Bournemouth in fourteenth-place. With the Premier League table so tightly congested, it could only take on poor result for them to drop back down towards midtable, while a strong run could see them break clear of the chasing pack.

Manchester United next five fixtures
Manchester United are back in action when they travel to face Wolves in the Premier League on Monday night. They currently sit rock-bottom of the table with just two points and are yet to win a match this season.
United will then host Bournemouth at Old Trafford and make the trip to face Aston Villa in their final two matches before Christmas. United welcome Newcastle to Manchester on Boxing Day and then face Wolves in another home match four days later.
Ruben Amorim will hope his side can finish the year on a high and head into 2026 as one of the top-four sides. A top five-finish should be enough for a Champions League place at the end of the campaign, though there are no guarantees given the Uefa coefficient.
