Everton and Leeds United in contact for signing – 24-year-old’s transfer on agenda

Brazilian defender Natan has impressed at Real Betis after failing to make an impact at Napoli. Leeds United and Everton are now believed to be keeping an eye on him.

This comes from Tuttomercatoweb, who take a close look at the 24-year-old.

They claim that Natan has been of interest to Leeds United and Everton since last summer.

At that point, the versatile centre-back joined the Spanish side permanently after an initial loan from Napoli.

The Whites and the Toffees had enquired about him but not made formal approaches.

Natan’s future is now a bit more uncertain. The report claims that Leeds United and Everton would have to make a ‘high offer’ for the player in the next few months. Only that will convince Real Betis into a sale.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side paid €9m to sign him permanently in the summer. That is why the La Liga club will only consider offers above €18m to sell Natan.

So far this season, the ex-Partenopei player has played 14 times in La Liga. He’s also played four times in the Europa League, establishing himself as a key player for Real Betis.
