Everton team news ahead of the Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest.

David Moyes has admitted Michael Keane is doubtful for Everton’s clash against Nottingham Forest.

The centre-back was absent from the Toffees’ squad for the 1-0 win at AFC Bournemouth earlier this week. It leaves Everton short in central defence, with Jarrad Branthwaite yet to make an appearance this season because of an ongoing hamstring issue.

Captain Seamus Coleman will not be fit to face Forest at Hill Dickinson Stadium tomorrow as he recovers from a hamstring problem. Meanwhile, Tim Iroegbunam picked up a fifth yellow card of the season at Bournemouth, meaning that he joins Idrissa Gana Gueye on the suspension list. Merlin Rohl continues to recover from a hernia operation he had last month.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Everton boss Moyes said: “I’m not sure he is going to be right. He played against Newcastle with an injury. Look, he couldn’t quite make it. I’m not sure yet.

“Seamus pulled his hamstring, so Seamus is going to be out for a little while. I don't know exactly the timescale for it. We are short. We were very short going to Bournemouth and the same again but it happens to other teams, not just us.”
