Arsenal director of football Andrea Berta has already contacted Ayyoub Bouaddi’s agents about a move to the Emirates.
That’s according to RMC Sport. They report that the Arsenal director has already made his moves to try and beat Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and even Paris Saint-Germain to the youngster.
A report yesterday stated that Arsenal were ready to move for Ayyoub and were currently at the front of the queue for his signature.
RMC continue that, reporting that Arsenal ‘appear the most likely’ to make a move at this moment in time. according to them, Arsenal are making a ‘strong push’ and are prepared to offer €45m for the Lille youngster.
Andrea Berta has already been in contact with the midfielder’s representatives and is keen to move quickly. He is aware that competition for Ayyoub’s signature will be fierce.
Chelsea are also keen, as are Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool. They’re all keeping a close eye on the player. PSG are also paying attention and appreciate him but are yet to offer anything concrete.
Lille, for their part, want to keep him in the January transfer window. His contract has already been extended to 2029 in the hope of warding off interest. Their president, Olivier Létang, is expecting offers worth more than €50m to arrive next summer. He won’t sell before that happens.
But Arsenal appear determined to get a deal done before that point. And their efforts could spark the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool into action.
