What David Moyes has said about signing Jack Grealish
On the back of his promising start to life at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, it has been suggested that Everton would need to renegotiate Grealish’s buy clause to match their budget.
Given the huge figure Man City paid for him back in 2019, it will be no surprise to see them try and recoup as much of that money as possible.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Moyes admitted Everton would not be able to afford the £50m buy clause in the current agreement.
“I am sure we would have to alter that [buy-clause]. I don’t think we would be in that ball game and let’s be fair adding everything into it, his age, it would be very difficult to pay that sort of money,” said Moyes.
Grealish is loving life at Everton, and that could be seen through his celebration, but the finances are going to have to make sense for Everton to secure a deal.
