Offense, defense, on the glass, in the paint, from the line, from the bench, on the parquet, in the tunnel. Is there anything Jordan Walsh is not doing?

On Thursday night, as the matchup against the Wizards paused for halftime, analyst and forever Celtic Eddie House gave Walsh his flowers.

“Jordan Walsh is the guy who has stepped up,” House said of his performance on a career night, with Walsh scoring 15 points before 8:15 p.m. and creating his own personal record by the end of the Celtics’ 146-101 victory.

Let’s give Jordan those flowers.

From G League to Garbage Man, Walsh has ascended from newbie to known quantity, making his presence especially clear during these last few blockbuster games. Just a couple years ago, the rookie got off to an understated start. Fast forward, Walsh has been part of the starting lineup these past couple weeks, racking up minutes, points, and highs.

There’s Walsh, en vogue on slide 7, traveling to Washington DC with the crew, wearing one of the trendiest looks for denim in 2025. Jeans can be tricky to style in a way that feels fresh. Acid wash offers a blend of nostalgia and novelty that creates a palate cleansing look for an old classic, especially when done in grey.

Then there’s Walsh, the ambassador, balling in 741 and shown here (again, slide 7) sporting his teammate’s athletic performance clothing and shoe brand.

There’s also Walsh, the dandy — demonstrating the delight of Black men frockling in fashionable fun. Whether flossing in high-end threads, like that rich brown kimono suit on opening night, or bundling up in sleek streetwear for a trip Midwest, Walsh’s wardrobe drips with Black boy joy.

Of course there is Walsh, the trendsetter. If you are a sneakerhead or appreciate a good pair of basketball shoes, you may have noticed a lot of pink popping up everywhere. Walsh models how men can confidently pull it off with more than just a splash.

Still early in the season, and it’s still unknown where the team will end up in the standings, but one thing seems sure right now: Walsh is in his glow-up era.

“Trying not to force it, trying not to chase it, trying not to get too thirsty,” Walsh said Thursday night after his 22-point career high achievement.
