**Emi Buendia scored a dramatic late winner for Aston Villa to secure a 2-1 win over league leaders Arsenal.**
With the game poised at 1-1, Buendia smashed in with almost the last kick of the game to make it seven wins in a row in all competitions for his side.
Matty Cash had given Villa, who had won 12 of the last 14 games going into the clash, the lead in the first half.
But Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta opted to change things at half-time, bringing on Viktor Gyokeres and Leandro Trossard for Mikel Merino and Ebere Eze.
And the changes paid off immediately as Trossard found himself in the right place at the right time to fire into the back of the net from Bukayo Saka’s deflected ball across goal.
Unfortunately for Arsenal, Trossard was unable to finish the game, going off in the 86th minute with an injury to be replaced by Gabriel Martinelli.
And after a scramble in the box, Buendia stepped up to fire past David Raya in the final minute to hand Arsenal a first defeat since September and just their second in the Premier League this season.
