Official: Barcelona starting lineup against Real Betis | La Liga MD 15

FC Barcelona will be aiming to end Real Betis’ eight-game unbeaten streak in all competitions when the two teams face off in La Liga later today.

With kickoff at Estadio de La Cartuja a little over an hour away, Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has now announced the starting lineup that will take on Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

And, there are some interesting selections made by the manager, starting with a rare place in the lineup for teenage winger Roony Bardghji, who has not played a single minute in the last five games

The 19-year-old starlet will likely take up the right flank, meaning Lamine Yamal appears set to operate as the No. 10 for Barcelona tonight in the absence of Dani Olmo, while Fermin Lopez remains on the bench.

Marcus Rashford gets the nod on the left flank, with Raphinha getting a break, keeping an eye on the Eintracht Frankfurt clash. Robert Lewandowski, too, is benched, with Ferran Torres starting as the No. 9.

Pedri and Eric Garcia maintain their partnership in midfield with Frenkie de Jong still not ready to start after recovering from illness.

Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde continue at full-back, while Gerard Martin partners Pau Cubarsi in central defence once again. Joan Garcia is the goalkeeper for Barcelona.
