Leeds United transfers
Leeds United could make some key transfers as the January window approaches. The Whites know that they will definitely need some reinforcements in their bid to survive the Premier League this season.
Leeds’ season was taking a nosedive until recent games. There was a lot of pressure on Daniel Farke’s shoulders, with people suggesting that he could be sacked this month. Even before the big win against Chelsea midweek, there were reports that he could walk after the game.

But the Whites pulled off a huge upset at Elland Road, beating Enzo Maresca’s side. With Farke’s new 3-5-2 shape, there might be a lot of optimism going into future games.
Leeds United eye January transfers as Barcelona star lined up
There were reports earlier this week that Leeds would focus more on finding wide players than center forwards. This is because Daniel Farke feels that Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are performing up to standards in the new system. So it is likely that a wide player could come through the door when January comes around.
According to MOT Leeds News, Leeds have made contact with Barcelona over Roony Bardghji. It is believed that though the Spanish side would like to keep the youngster in January, a number of clubs in England are monitoring the situation. The Whites are said to be leading the chase, with talks going on behind the scenes.
Could Leeds pull off this move?
Bardghji has been the backup to Lamine Yamal this season, and as such has not really gotten much playing time behind the Spanish international. In his cameos this season, he has shown a good level of play. Bardghji likes to attack the box and is a great dribbler; he would definitely provide more threat down the right flank than the current options at the club.
Sometimes these under-the-radar deals can be lifelines at this point of the season. It would also be ironic if Leeds signing a player from Barcelona saves their season, considering the Spanish side taking Raphinha away from them a few seasons ago. In January, the 49ers will have to show ambition in the transfer market if they really want the Whites to avoid relegation.
They failed to add serious attacking quality at the tail end of the summer window, so now they have the chance to re-write their wrongs.
