Everton secured their fourth win in their last five Premier League games with a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
David Moyes saw his side make an electric start at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on the back of Everton’s midweek win down south.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s early cross was headed home by Forest’s Nikola Milenkovic within the opening 90 seconds.
Finally the moment arrived for Thierno Barry as he netted his first goal for the Blues just before the half-time break.

Dewsbury-Hall’s endeavours were rewarded as he secured the points with the third goal of the afternoon.

Jordan Pickford – 6
Dealt with the few efforts on goal well until a poor punch almost cost his side a goal. The England number one was saved by James Tarkowski’s clearance.
Jake O’Brien – 6
Defensively, a solid shift from Jake O’Brien. Not much going in the other direction, but Moyes knows what to expect by now.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Moyes said O’Brien is Everton’s best right-back option, which does not bode well for Nathan Patterson.

James Tarkowski – 8
A simply brilliant block from Tarkowski prevented Neco Williams from taking aim at Jordan Pickford’s goal.
The 33-year-old then denied Nicolas Dominguez from halving the deficit with a goal-line clearance.
Michael Keane – 7
The quieter of the two centre-backs, but a welcome return for Michael Keane following his absence on Tuesday evening.
Vitalii Mykolenko – 6
Plenty of effort, but lacking the quality going forward.
James Garner – 8
Defensively solid in protecting the Everton backline. Arguably should have done better with his effort on goal early in the second 45.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – 9
He may not have been credited with the goal, but what a class act Dewsbury-Hall is turning out to be!
Did lose it in a dangerous position once in the second half, but his teammates spared him his blushes.
Iliman Ndiaye – 7
Got his assist for Barry’s goal and was always a threat on the ball. Also worth noting how much defensive cover Iliman Ndiaye provided.
Ndiaye leaves for the Africa Cup of Nations on 15th December.
Carlos Alcaraz – 6
Worked hard throughout, but did not exactly have much of an impact going forward.
Jack Grealish – 6
A quiet afternoon for Jack Grealish.
Moyes has demanded more goals from Grealish, but Saturday’s showing lacked a lot from the 30-year-old.
Thierno Barry – 8
Started the game off in really encouraging fashion and he finally got his reward with a well-earned goal!
HE’S FINALLY GOT HIS GOAL! It may have taken 17 appearances, but Thierno Barry is up and running for Everton 🔥

Big worry when he went down holding his shoulder just weeks on from Barry suffering a dislocated shoulder against Fulham – one to watch.
But the noise created in the stadium when he scored says everything you need to know.
Substitutes
Beto – 6
Introduced after Barry picked up a yellow card and made his presence known with big tackle, which he celebrated like a goal.
Dwight McNeil – N/A
