The Rockets have won the last two editions of the I-45 Rivalry but are looking to make it three in a row for the first time since dominating this matchup on eight straight occasions more than seven years ago.

Still, Steven Adams has proved he has the attributes needed to fill in and deliver in his absence, while Amen Thompson stepped up with a 31-point display against the Suns.
Dallas, meanwhile, saw its brief win streak unsurprisingly end in Oklahoma City on Friday night. Rookie Cooper Flagg recorded a below-par 16 points as he was held at bay, while Anthony Davis will be seeking improvement in the return home this weekend after he went 1-9 shooting and didn't score until the last eight minutes.
