Everton defeated Nottingham Forest 3-0 at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
David Moyes’ side picked up another clean sheet and three goals to go along with it, lifting them up to fifth place in the Premier League table.
Everton striker Thierno Barry finally scored his first goal for the club as he coolly stroked one past the Nottingham Forest goalkeeper.

Speaking post-match, Moyes reaffirmed his European goal: “I want to be positive and try and attempt to get close to Europe. We’re not a side yet which will continually win all the games, but we’re making good progress.”
Moyes also hailed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for another sensational performance and the former Chelsea midfielder released a short statement on Instagram post-match.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall releases short statement after Everton vs Nottingham Forest
Dewsbury-Hall netted his third goal in three consecutive games yesterday, and he admitted he’s feeling the best he’s ever felt.
Dewsbury-Hall picked up the Man of the Match award, and took to Instagram to release a short statement.

“Enjoying myself… Great week from the boys,” the 27-year-old said.
James Maddison replied: “Flying son. Proud dad.”
Jake O’Brien commented: “Different class.”
James Garner and Jack Grealish also left words of praise, evincing how much of a well-liked character he is in the Everton dressing room.
Everton’s summer target Abdul Fatawu and former Leicester City teammate added: “Enjoy it you deserve it.”

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall should be considered for England
Dewsbury-Hall was nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month in November, and it clearly one of the most in-form players in the division.
So, surely Thomas Tuchel will be considering calling up the Everton midfielder to his England squad in March.

Bournemouth star Alex Scott, who is a terrific player, was named in the last camp, so he’s probably the only player Dewsbury-Hall could realistically replace.
Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham, Jordan Henderson and Elliot Anderson are all certs to go to the World Cup, so it’s a difficult position to break into.
But, there is a chance, and Dewsbury-Hall turned down the chance to play for Ireland to give himself a shot at getting a Three Lions call-up.
