Liverpool and Arenal are hovering in the background ready to make a move for Bradley Barcola if he fails to sign a new deal at Paris Saint-Germain.
That’s according to Le10 Sport. They report that Arsenal and Liverpool are both keen on the winger and eyeing a move.
They explain that PSG are currently in the midst of a major contract extension campaign. Each week has seen them making progress on numerous deals as they look to lock down key players long-term.
Barcola is one they want to renew, and negotiations started several weeks ago. PSG have submitted a financial offer to the winger, including a significant salary increase. It would place him among the highest earners in the squad.
However, this has not yet been accepted. Barcola is not entirely satisfied with his situation at PSG. Thus, his representatives are taking their time before making a concrete decision.
That’s opened the door slightly for any suitors. Liverpool are keen and a ‘very active contender’ while Arsenal have ‘made a strong move’ to try and entice the Frenchman.
They’re just one of two potential destinations and Barcola is ‘inundated’ with offers behind the scenes. Saudi Arabia is also a possibility.
