Arsenal interest in Kenan Yildiz has repeatedly been talked up by the Italian media over the past month or so. The Premier League side are said to be impressed with his potential, and what he’s showing now.
The 20-year-old was born in Germany, but represents Turkey on the international stage. He’s played 18 matches so far this season for Juventus, scoring five goals and adding five assists.
Arsenal interest is real, says Balzarani

Arsenal interest has been hyped endlessly, and at times it’s felt like the Gunners were being used. Yildiz’s camp are in negotiations with Juventus over a new contract and talks have stalled. Therefore, pushing Arsenal interest could be a way to pressure Juve.
Italian journalist Gianni Balzarini insists that’s not the case. Speaking over the weekend, he’s said Arsenal have been in contact.
TuttoJuve quote him as saying: “There’s been real contact with Arsenal, that is, Arsenal have asked for information, it’s part of the game, there’s no negotiation, let’s be clear, but they have asked for information about this player who, in my opinion, could also do very well in the Premier League
“Given his physical and technical characteristics, and so it’s clear that after all this atmosphere here, a sort of halo is forming around the boy, the player who, for his part, I also understand, may claim the need to play in a better team.”
Whilst Arsenal may well have been in contact, Kenan Yildiz’s camp could be encouraging that to up Juve’s offer.
