Paul Scholes has hit out at Martin Keown's co-commentary during Arsenal's defeat at Aston Villa on Saturday - likening him to iconic Manchester United TV commentator Paddy Crerand.
Former Gunners and defender Keown, 59, was behind the microphone for TNT Sports yesterday during their coverage of Villa's dramatic 2-1 victory over Mikel Arteta's men.
The Arsenal legend, who also played for Villa, spent the majority of his career at Highbury where he made up part of the club's iconic Invincibles team in 2003-04.
But Keown's supposed 'bias' towards Arsenal during the match rubbed some fans the wrong way on Saturday afternoon, with many rushing online to criticise him.
And joining that sentiment was United legend Scholes, who took aim at Keown with a jibe of his own in a social media post after the match.
'Listening to Keown on TNT is like listening to Paddy Crerand on MUTV,' Scholes wrote.

Keown was behind the mic for TNT Sports on Saturday and came in for criticism from fans
The mention of Crerand, who made hundreds of appearances for United before taking up the MUTV gig, was an on the nose reference to the former defender's commentary style.
Crerand is famed for his support of United on the channel and it appears that Scholes was likening Keown's own commentary to that of the MUTV man.
Frustration at Keown boiled over towards the end of the tie for a lot of fans, who were not pleased at his decision to select Martin Odegaard as man of the match.
In fact, one rather famous Villa supporter, Prince William, even made his disagreement clear.
'Surely Emi Buendia for man of the match, [TNT Sports]?! An incredible game! UTV! W,' the Prince of Wales wrote from the Kensington Royal X account.
Keown then issued a response live on air, saying: 'I'm really sorry that I've upset royalty, but I actually gave it out – can you believe it – in the 89th minute. I was a bit early.
'We can unofficially do it [give Buendia the MOTM award]. I don't want to be court-martialled.'
