At one stage, it looked like Axel Disasi could get a game or two under Enzo Maresca at Chelsea this season.
After being exiled, Disasi recently returned to first-team training at Cobham. However, the central defender is yet to play a single minute of senior football.
As well as that, he recently featured in another Under-21 game, a 3-1 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
Thankfully for Disasi, though, he could be offered a way out of Chelsea in the January transfer window.

This is not the first time that the Hammers have shown an interest in the 27-year-old.
At the end of the last transfer window, it was reported that West Ham were in talks to sign Disasi from their fierce London rivals.
Nothing materialised, though, and the Frenchman ended up remaining at Chelsea. Having not played a single minute of first-team football this season, it is something that the France international will regret.
As well as the Hammers, Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund are also thought to be interested in Disasi.

Enzo Maresca names Chelsea’s best central defensive partnership
Had Levi Colwill not picked up an ACL injury, the England international would be starting for Chelsea right now, likely alongside Wesley Fofana.
Of course, Fofana is not always able to play because of his own fitness issues. However, he did start in the 0-0 draw with Bournemouth on Saturday.
According to Maresca, it is Fofana and Trevoh Chalobah who are Chelsea’s best centre-back pairing at the moment.
Disasi would probably love to get the chance to prove that he can also be part of a solid defensive unit.
However, with Fofana, Chalobah, Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile and Josh Acheampong all above him in the pecking order, that will not happen. The former AS Monaco man now needs to join West Ham or another side in January.
