Is LeBron James playing tonight vs. 76ers? Game status for Lakers star

The Los Angeles Lakers got some good news ahead of their meeting with the 76ers in Philadelphia on Sunday night.

After missing the team’s past two games due to personal reasons, Lakers star guard Luka Doncic is expected to return to game action in Philly. Doncic was away from the team due to the birth of his second daughter. He had traveled to Ljubljana, Slovenia, to be with his fiancée, Anamaria Goltes, for the delivery. He has since returned to the United State and rejoined the team.

LeBron James 'probable' to play against 76ers

Meanwhile, Lakers forward LeBron James also missed L.A.’s 126-105 loss to the Boston Celtics on Friday night due to sciatica recovery and left foot joint arthritis. As a result, James’ status for the matchup with the Sixers has come into question.

James hasn't been given an official designation for the game yet. He was initially listed as questionable, but he has been upgraded to probable, and thus is expected to play.
