David Moyes made clear his thoughts on European aspirations for **Everton**after another big win.
The Toffees bounced back from a 4-1 defeat at Newcastle United to take six points from their last two fixtures: a 1-0 victory over **Bournemouth**and a 3-0 triumph against Nottingham Forest, now coached by former **Everton**boss Sean Dyche. Moyes’ men are now in fifth place in the Premier League table, on the coattails of **Chelsea**and Aston Villa, and some are starting to dream.
The team is benefitting from the performances of Kiernan Dewabury-Hall, who has netted in three of his last four **Premier League**matches while Thierno Barry, who put in an aerially dominant display down to ten men at Old Trafford, scored his first goal for the club. Moyes is making waves in the blue half of Merseyside once more, but he is not allowing himself to lose sight of the reality.
"I was pleased we kept another clean sheet - I know that sounds negative, but that's the place to start. Winning any game in the Premier League is difficult at the moment, and going three goals ahead late on is good. The early goal let us sit in and counter-attack a bit more, and the second goal before half-time is a killer.
"It's huge for [Thierno]. It was coming, it was certainly due. You have got to score when you're playing as a centre-forward, otherwise we will find someone to replace him. When he went down he did it. He's had a bad shoulder, but he's been well looked after by the medical team.
"[Kiernan] is a really good footballer, a dedicated footballer. We have given him the chance to play regularly, which he missed at Chelsea, so hopefully we can keep him at it. He's had to play deeper, but his performances have been very good.
"I'm too old now to say we just want to avoid relegation, but I'm not daft enough to say Europe is possible. I don't think we are quite ready, but we will keep knocking at the door."
