Bournemouth had 13 shots on goal on Saturday, with five on target, for 1.37 expected goals – but they were unable to break the deadlock in a game that ended 0-0.
Antoine Semenyo saw a goal chalked off after just four minutes as Evanilson was marginally offside in the build up.

The Ghanaian was the Cherries’ main threat and drew a few good stops out of the Spanish stopper, but Bournemouth were kept at bay and their winless run extended to six games, although the performance against the Blues was encouraging.
Asked if he felt his side had the better of the game on balance, Iraola said: “I think we've had better chances than Chelsea but it's true that you need to score.
“Now, it's costing us a lot. The offside is just a little bit offside. The chance of Evanilson is a little bit late, so even if it's very close, goes a little bit outside.
“We've had at the beginning of the season, probably games where we played worse and you managed to get a goal, one set piece, whatever, you win 1-0.
“There are moments of now everything is costing us, but I think we can build on this performance.”
