Jude Bellingham suffered a nasty cut during Real Madrid’s match against Celta Vigo.
Real Madrid ended the match with nine men and had a staff member sent off on Sunday night. Bellingham suffered a cut just beneath his eyebrow following a tussle with Celta Vigo targetman Borja Iglesias in the second half.
Iglesias hit the England star with an accidental stray elbow as they battled for the ball. Bellingham left the pitch to get patched up by the Real Madrid medics with blood pouring down his face.
But he then received a yellow card after returning to the field of play too quickly and without the referee’s permission. Things went from bad to worse for Real Madrid as Fran Garcia was sent off moments later after picking up his second yellow card.
