Dewsbury-Hall admitted he’s feeling the best he’s ever felt after the game, so clearly he’s loving his new life on Merseyside at Everton.

Iliman Ndiaye also earned a lot of plaudits as he registered his sixth goal involvement of the season, laying on the assist for Thierno Barry’s goal.

Jack Grealish was quieter than usual and now Gary Lineker has just revealed what the Toffees star told him after the game.

What Jack Grealish told Gary Lineker after Everton beat Nottingham Forest

Lineker, speaking on the Rest Is Football podcast, revealed that Grealish was really disappointed with his performance against Nottingham Forest.

“After the game, from the director’s box, we were trying to find a way out because we had to rush a little bit and walk to get to the station in time for the last train to London,” the former Toffees striker said.

“We kind of took a wrong turn, opened the door and it was obviously where the corridor is outside the dressing rooms and I quickly shut the door, but then Jack Grealish comes running out.

‘Hey Gary!’ and I go ‘oh hello Jack’. He’s in just his undies and a pair of very short socks and we had a good chat. He wasn’t happy with his performance.

Alan Shearer chimed in: “Well he won.”

Lineker continued: “Well exactly, but I said that’s the time to do it. He was slightly off his game, he said ‘I couldn’t pass it!'”

David Moyes wants more from Jack Grealish

Grealish was clearly frustrated that he wasn’t able to get in on the act against Forest with a goal or an assist.

David Moyes recently said he wants more goals from Grealish, as the Man City loanee has only scored twice this season.

“I want him to score more goals actually,” the Scotsman said at the end of last month.

“I need him to come up with more goals. If he keeps doing the assists then it’s ok, but I think goals are the bigger thing over assists.”

Michael Keane and James Tarkowski both said Grealish is Moyes’ favourite player, so Moyes evidently loves the Toffees playmaker, he just wants to maximise his talents and get even more out of him.
