**Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard is a doubt for the Gunners’ game against Club Brugge in the Champions League on Wednesday night.**
The Belgian international has been carrying an ankle injury since the win over Bayern Munich last month.
Trossard did come on as a substitute and score the equaliser [**against Aston Villa**](https://goonernews.com/blog/arsenal-player-ratings-aston-villa/) at the weekend, but he was forced off before the end of the match, and manager Mikel Arteta said in his post-match interview that he is concerned the player has suffered a recurrence of the issue that led him to miss the Chelsea and Brentford fixtures:
“He was really good. We know he is another player coming back from injury and he started to feel it again, so we had to take him off.”
Trossard is among 5 Arsenal players who are on the sidelines

Arteta has already confirmed that Cristhian Mosquera will be out of contention for a while with his own ankle injury. The Spaniard is expected to miss up to six weeks after being taken off against Brentford.
William Saliba is also still unavailable, despite Arteta claiming that the France international would only be sidelined for a “matter of days”.
The centre-back picked up a knock in training just a day before the 1-1 draw against Chelsea, and it remains to be seen when he will return to fitness.
Saliba’s long-time centre-back partner Gabriel has been ruled out for several weeks. The Brazilian sustained an adductor injury on international duty with Brazil last month, and he may only return at the start of the New Year. Kai Havertz, meanwhile, is likely to be on the treatment table for a similar period. The forward suffered a relapse in his recovery from the knee operation he underwent back in August.
