**Former Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has vowed to someday visit his old club.**
Ancelotti spent 18 months at the helm between December 2019 and June 2021 before returning to Real Madrid, where he enjoyed another success-laden spell.
The Italian took the reins at Goodison Park following Marco Silva’s sacking and finished 12th and 10th respectively in the Premier League during that period.
Now Brazil head coach, Ancelotti has spoken warmly again about his time with the Blues and hailed the work of David Moyes, who was his rival for the job in 2019.
He has also pledged to someday return to Merseyside to see his erstwhile employers in their impressive new surroundings at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
“I loved the period at Everton,” Ancelotti told TNT Sports.
“It was a difficult period because it was COVID there but I have a good memory of the environment there and I’m looking always to the result of Everton.
“I know that Moyes now is doing a fantastic job.
“They have a new stadium and one day I will be there to support Everton in their new stadium.”
